Assist2Admit Program Summary
Vivian Fung College Prep is looking for ambitious and hard-working college-bound high school students currently in grades 9 through 11.
- Students should demonstrate the challenges in achieving their educational goals due to a lack of access to technology such as laptops and WiFi connectivity.
- Students should demonstrate how they intend to utilize the college admissions guidance provided by Vivian Fung College Prep in order to achieve their potential.
- Students who are selected for Assist2Admit will receive college admissions guidance, a new Samsung laptop, as well as a prepaid mobile hotspot with Verizon 4G LTE with metered data.
- Assist2Admit students who successfully complete the program requirements will be granted the technology during their senior year.
Assist2Admit Program Requirements
As a condition of receiving the technology, winners and their parent(s)/guardian(s) are required to sign an engagement letter with VFCP for college admissions guidance. The engagement letter outlines the responsibilities of the student and the services that will be provided free of charge.

1. To be personally responsible for the laptop and hotspot provided by the program. Vivian Fung College Prep is not responsible for repair or replacement of the technology in the event of damage or loss.

2. To participate in virtual meetings with Vivian Fung College Prep at least once a month to work on college admissions. If a student misses a scheduled meeting without good cause, student forfeits technology as well as all future college admissions guidance.

3. College admissions services will be limited to school search, workflow planning, application review, interview coaching (if applicable) and essay guidance for up to FOUR essays. (Currently, the University of California application requires four essays.)
