Look forward and start early! College admissions committees look back to 9th grade to review academic and extracurricular records. Ms. Fung believes that this is the best time to plan and shape your high school portfolio. But whether you are just starting high school - or are a rising senior - you will want to consider how to make your portfolio tell a great story about you.

A consultation with Ms. Fung will aim to probe the student's individual interests and talents and help them (1) explore their options, (2) aim for a good balance in their lives, and (3) develop a tailored strategy to make the most of the high school experience. Proactively learn what colleges are looking for, think about scholarships that might be available, and discuss how you can accomplish your goals to present the best college application possible when the time comes.
